Our first design of the GLIMMER-series has the meaning of "grow" in swedish. VÄXA draws awareness to its charismatic yet humble sparkle, creating a peculiar calm to the observer's eye.
The composition of VÄXA was first created as a commission for a hotel but ended up to be the successful creation of a new technique.
The green colour was released after requests for a coloured version of the original.
With the vertical bamboo-like features we experimented with different green colours to get the perfect shade. After some testing we came to the conclusion that the sage-green shade would be the perfect choice for our second release of 2023.
The thought behind this artwork was not to draw attention, but to peacefully increase the soothing energies in the room with its presence, which is also why the first release of VÄXA was absolutely colourless.

GLIMMER - LIV
Our second and newest contribution to the GLIMMER-series has the meaning of "life" in Swedish. This artwork is a gentle reminder to appreciate the most essential substance existing, Water.
Apart from being a reminder of appreciation,this water-like pattern and ocean-blue colour gives a calm feeling to the observer and is the perfect detail to uplift the harmonious energies of the home.
With the characteristic and structured stripe crossing the painting horizontally, the collector can easily recognize the GLIMMER-series. Each stripe is also purely hand-embellished as well as the top surface of the artworks.
These final touches make each and every painting just as unique as our own fingerprints.
